EcSS 3000®
A Tested and proven soil stabilization solution
Are you seeing signs of foundation movement?
If you have noticed cracks in your walls, ceilings, bricks, and foundation, there is a high likelihood it’s due to swelling and shrinking of the clay soil in the ground. When left untreated, clay soil acts like a sponge, swelling when it gets wet and pushing your foundation upward.
How EcSS 3000® Works
EcSS 3000® addresses the swelling of expansive clay soils and is the only product to have scientific evidence to prove it. ESSL has invested over 1 1⁄2 million dollars to scientifically prove the effectiveness of our product. EcSS 3000® uses a process that not only reduces the negative charge of the clay particle but actually changes its molecular structure. In this IRREVERSIBLE state, the expansive clay soil no longer behaves as such.
Who We Help
Our customer base is very diverse, ranging from extremely large commercial sites, builders with residential subdivisions, strip malls, parking garages, school district sports fields, as well as small single commercial sites and individual residential homes. We have been involved in soil stabilization of major and minor remedial exterior and interior commercial structures and projects as well as private residences.
Why Other Methods Fail
Lime Treatment
This method adds lime to soil to increase its strength. Lime treatment requires careful monitoring and quality control to provide efficient results, is only suitable for certain types of soils, and is not environmentally friendly.
Pre-Swelling
This method adds water to cause and control swelling and is used before construction begins. It requires careful application or results are inefficient. Pre-swelling is not used to fix foundations that have already been built upon.
Cut-Off Walls & Aprons
This preventative method involves placing structures to prevent water from reaching the soil. Cut-off walls and aprons are expensive and do not address the problem directly.
Why EcSS 3000®
EcSS 3000® has been injected into over 250 million square feet without a single structural failure, and is non- hazardous as well as environmentally friendly, so you won’t have to worry about harming your flowers, shrubs, grass, or trees. Our process is designed to be as non-disruptive as possible. We don’t disturb your landscaping or damage your lawn.
